The instructions for use were somewhat lacking, but I managed to get the device working. The remote control apparently goes into standby mode very quickly and cannot be reactivated until the entire device is turned off using the on/off button on the spherical part. In my opinion, this somewhat defeats the purpose of the toy if you wish to give the remote to a partner. The device also doesn't turn off with the remote, which makes it a bit inconvenient if you want to use it somewhere other than at home. Perhaps this is just a dodgy version, but for me, it'll end up gathering dust in the cupboard.
