Customer reviews (0)I like this better than the diva cup. I think the loop is easier to get hold of and it feels safer to insert it far enough into the vagina. I prefer a menstrual cup over pads and tampons, so I recommend it to everyone I know :)
Nice and soft, but completely impossible to use! I normally use the organic cup, but as I find the organic cup a bit of a pain to get up because it's a bit stiff, I tried buying these two! However, I am evenly disappointed! They are super soft, but also way too soft! I can barely get it up properly and it doesn't unfold at all, no matter how hard I try, and neither method nor positions help. Gave up after 20 min. Attempt. So it's money out of thin air! Practice practice practice.
I've used organicup before, but the stick that was attached was sticking and I didn't dare cut it off because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get it out. This one has a curve instead of a stick and you don't feel it at all! The cup itself is so soft and flexible that if you didn't get it right to begin with, you can push it into place with a finger and it opens easily. Highly recommended!
The only mooncup I haven't lost my nerve taking it off. The material is wonderfully soft which makes it easy to put on and take off, especially once you get your finger in the cup's socket. Sometimes it doesn't want to open properly, but then just another try and a little twirl and it usually helps.
With periods of high storm surge, these cups are the best choice. I felt 100% more confident knowing that there would be no leakage. Here you only have to think about emptying the cup close to twice a day only. The best part is that I didn't feel like I was carrying a cup around.
I have been looking for a new cup for a long time, but the others I have found have been annoying in the fit, too small and annoying, the other too big and could not really "pop" out. The material on these is so soft and comfortable that you can feel that they just fit better, I have a feeling that I am more secure. The others I've tried have almost pressed into every area when you move, I can almost forget it's that time of the month. The easy comfortable spout until you can easily pull it out also means that you don't "pinch" yourself - very positive.
These are two really good cups for the price. I have used cups for many years (organicup and most recently nixit) and after giving birth I needed a new model. It's super smart that you can put your finger through the eye when you take it out. Much better than the traditional stem that is on most cups. It varies a bit how easy it is to get it to unfold, but it was the same with the organic cup. The surface is very soft. I am very satisfied and would recommend the set to others.
The menstrual cup doesn't unfold 8 out of 10 timesQueenofitall - 27. oct. 2021 Today I have experienced bleeding through on my new light-coloured sofa, because the menstrual cup does not unfold when it has been set up, so today I have spent a lot of time trying to get it to unfold up in the vagina approx. 8-10 minutes per toilet visit. I tried both the large and the small (they are in the package) I have not given birth and the small is just the smallest and the edge of the large cup bothers my vaginal wall there could well be a size between these two sizes (heavy menstruation). I wouldn't recommend using these without a pad in your knickers in case it doesn't fully unfold, because you will bleed through.
They're good, you just need to learn how to lay them ????
I read reviews that this cup is on the soft side and might cause trouble unfolding. I initially had that exact problem, but changing the fold has fixed all problems. The M/E/Squiggle fold works perfect because of the increased tension on the edge, it has more 'oomph' to open up once inserted. After a small learning curve, I'm happy I went for this one. You just don't feel it sitting inside at all!
Difficult to set upJørgensen - 22. aug. 2021 I have experience from other cups that have never been a problem to get in place. But this one really requires body awareness and patience, which isn't always available. It's taken me four periods to just get to a point where it can be put in place. It still takes a bloody war to get there. When it's finally in place, there's no inconvenience. I give them credit for that.
Great for sensitive mucous membranes!Elisabeth - 18. jul. 2021 This works so well for me as I have vestibulitis (nerve pain in the abdomen)! It is soft and easy to remove using the loop. Sometimes it leaks because it is so soft and doesn’t fully unfold and create a vacuum. But my mucous membranes feel better without tampons that are drying. To facilitate the insertion and removal process, anaesthetic ointment and water-based lubricant can be used.
Love that it does not rub and irritate.
Easy to take out, and it requires a bit of practice before it pops up. But once you have it under control it is very easy
I was simply so pleasantly surprised. I have previously used another brand of menstrual cup, but it did not work quite as desired. So I chose to buy this one as there were two sizes, and due to the grip at the bottom of the cup. The smaller size works best for me, and what a difference! This one is much softer and sits better! Have experienced discomfort with other brands when I have had to ‘insert’ them, but that is no problem here. And another huge plus is the grip. I did not like the stalk grip as it could clearly be felt in the abdomen. The rounding of this and its size just makes it feel completely free. At least, I am suuuuuuper happy with it.
I have used a menstruation cup in the past but always had problems with chafing and the like.
So far I have no such problems with this one!
I recommend it
Wonderful and the world’s most comfortable in your HANDS but impossible to use. Does not open at all, perhaps precisely because of its softness. Shame!
...I use a meno cup and I am blown away by the sheer enthusiasm. Nice and soft, easy to set up and I am happy about all the money I am now saving on tampax etc.
In the beginning a little difficult to get in place but once you get it, it is super easy and smooth. The material is soft, which means that it is barely noticeable during use. Super easy to grab with the small loop, much easier to remove than a menstrual cup with a spike.
I have used menstrual cups for many years, was very happy with the diva cup. But I had received a gift card, and the cup I was using had become discoloured, worked fine, but just looked a bit disgusting. So I thought I'd try something new. Tried both sizes. Several times, over three days. Went in fine, would not open. Again and again I tried. Put in, took out. Twisting around, trying different insertion methods, pushing until both hands and cups looked like mass murder had been committed. I was left frustrated, sore, and annoyed. Ordering a new diva cup, me.
Best cup especially after labour! I have been through 3 births within 4 years, I have problems with my cervix hanging low despite weak muscles, and with the other cups I have tried, the stem has been too long and uncomfortable to wear... (even though it was cut off) but this one is easy to insert and fits really well... a clear recommendation from a beginner in the world of menstrual cups... and the price is of course super good!
Although it's a little hard to get it open in the spot, it sits comfortably.
Too soft, does not return to its shape and difficult to put in place.
Doesn't work, the material is too soft so the cup doesn't want to open when it's inside. A horrible operation to get in place each time. The material also gets a bit sticky in storage. Works in an emergency, but not recommended.
This one makes life easier. Easy to use, leak-proof, environmentally friendly and safe to use both day and night. Great product!
I have not succeeded in getting it to unfold... after several attempts I have given up they do not make the pop as it should.
I've been using the small one for 4 days but it never opens in the vagina... I've tried different ways to do it with no luck.
It's great that you get two cups. But then it stops there. They are way too big, they can't unfold inside me
I received the pack in the middle of my last period. I have therefore only used it three times and not for heavy bleeding yet. However, I've been surprised at how easy it was to set up and get it to fit properly
I've tried quite a few menstrual cups and bought these because of the ring to pull it out, I find them a bit hard to get them to open when they are inserted, but when it's in place you don't feel it at all, haven't experienced any leaks and it's so easy to remove and clean
First period with the cup It is not easy to give a 100% review as I have only tried the cup during the last days of my period. After I made insertion with the punch down fold; with the fold against my back, the cup sat perfectly for up to 8 hours without leakage. I have read that it takes several periods to learn how to use the cup. So with my experience, I think I'm already WAY ahead. The cups are delicious and I think the handle is nice. I think it will be easier to menstruate next time. And with the price, I don't feel like it can be a big gamble.
