Quite intense, the lowest intensity is good enough, also because of the fact that the fingers get numb when holding the toy at higher intensities. For me, most of the intermittent vibration programmes are not used. Otherwise a really good experience, I got what I was looking for! As a first time buyer, I would be prepared for the charging cable to stop working. I only managed to charge the toy with its own cable once. The device seemed to charge and come "full" but would not start. Fortunately, I had a cable from another Satisfyer toy in advance that did the job.
