Works as it should - it slides. With prolonged use, you may sometimes need to add more lotion, probably because of the water base (dries out). Overall, it holds up well. It is not sticky. Does not dry out quickly because it is thick, therefore it is also very nice to use (especially for anal, but remember not to use silicone toys here, silicone and silicone dissolve each other) because it works a bit like an extra protective layer, a bit like a soft duvet..it also makes it easier to get something in.
But the container itself is very impractical, as there is locking mechanism on it, such as I have seen on tubs like this before, or just a lid to put over that you can easily press on just to have it in a drawer or in your bag.
