I am a fairly new user of the womanizer, but have had some difficulty getting the device to stay still over my clitoris, with a slightly larger suction plug it becomes easier and I do not "lose the attachment" as easily as the smaller ones. So a tip for you who experience the same.

I highly recommend the XL head over the regular small head, as I find the small one too intense on the clitoris. The big head kind of grabs a little bit around the clitoris, which feels more comfortable :)
