First product like this we've tried although I've been interested in them for a while
The main thing is that the spark and sound is really impressive.
In terms of impact/feeling/pain, it's kind of quite variable - very often I just give a tap for the spark and they can barely feel it. At the most it's just a little prick which fades after a second. In a way it feels underwhelming, but that might be a good thing - we like the idea of it being intense more than the actual feeling.
One thing I really like which I hadn't seen anybody else mention, it works well through thin clothing. I was very keen to use this on them when they were wearing tights or leggings, and while you do need to apply a small amount of pressure, it does work well.
