Based on what I read, the pin was of high quality and suitable for a beginner, and these expectations were fulfilled perfectly! The design of the pin is very smooth, making it easy to get both in and out. The soft silicone surface, which in all its silky glory did not want to slip very well, slightly compromised the smoothness the first time. However, a better glide-on solved this problem for me. I recommend taking a good slider with you; silicone-based ones are obviously not suitable for this toy. Despite its small size, the pin stays in well, and thanks to the T-shaped heel, it can also be held while doing other chores. I wouldn't think the heel would get in the way of penetration, at least in the S size, but I can't confirm this. The small size is just right for a beginner, but you'll soon find yourself wanting something a little bigger. So if you've clearly played with more than, say, a couple of fingers, you might want to consider a larger size. Overall, the product is of high quality and very easy to clean. The manufacturing process has left evidence of a seam that is barely felt on the finger, but is not noticeable at all during play. A strong recommendation!
